At TRANSCEND, we believe mastering the basics is crucial for success in commerce. That’s why Chartered Accountants (CAs) are directly involved in coaching PU students, shaping the curriculum and lesson plans across various subjects. Public Speaking
At TRANSCEND, we nurture students through effective communication and mastering the art of public speaking. We help them conquer stage fright, refine gestures, and perfect voice modulation. Through the vocal valor sessions, students learn to think on their feet with impromptu topics and grow into confident, articulate orators. Excelling in soft skills helps them in building a successful career and bridging knowledge and impact.
Art & Dance Workshops
Art and dance are effective methods for relieving stress while promoting an active lifestyle and enabling creative expression. At TRANSCEND, our workshops are available to all students, providing an opportunity to engage in these art forms without the stress of auditions. Conducted at least twice a year, these workshops motivate students to step beyond their comfort zones and experience the joy of art and movement, even if they do not consider themselves as artists or dancers.
Sports & Cultural Clubs
At TRANSCEND, over 20 sports and cultural clubs offer students the opportunity to excel beyond academics. After auditions, students join these competitive teams—ranging from cricket, football, and basketball to dance, singing, oratory, and fashion. Meeting fortnightly to hone skills and teamwork, these teams represent the college at various intercollegiate competitions. The numerous awards we've won reflect their dedication and excellence.
5th Core Subject
At TRANSCEND, we believe in giving our students an edge in education by encouraging them to take a 5th core subject in addition to the standard four mandated by the Karnataka State Board. While this additional subject is not part of their formal examinations, it provides invaluable knowledge and prepares students for professional courses and entrance exams. Their core subject combination determines their additional subject of study. Only select specialized topics shall be covered in the 5th core subject.
Business Quotient
At TRANSCEND, we believe that understanding the business world is essential, especially for commerce students. Through our Business Quotient (BQ) initiative, we conduct at least five online sessions each academic year on topics like the stock market, currency valuation, and economic policies. Led by industry professionals, these sessions offer insights beyond the PU syllabus, equipping students for real-world challenges in the competitive business landscape.
Make Your Life Count (MYLC)
Make Your Life Count (MYLC) sessions are conducted at least five times a year online, allowing students, parents, and siblings to participate. These sessions provide powerful insights on living an ethical and successful life, emphasizing that everything is created twice—first in the mind, then in reality. Rooted in the teachings of Infinitheism, MYLC helps shape the right mindset and attitude for a brighter future. Occasionally, sessions may be held offline, exclusively for students, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to engage with these essential lessons, captured in the TRANSCEND PLEDGE as a guide to purposeful living.
Fitness Programs
At TRANSCEND, our fitness programs are a mandatory part of every student's journey, promoting not just physical health but also mental well-being. With expert trainers guiding students through activities like strength training, agility training, aerobics, zumba, yoga, and self-defense, we ensure that fitness is both engaging and effective. A strong body fuels a strong mind, preparing students for success in every aspect of life.
Techscale
In today's competitive landscape, proficiency in technology is crucial for achieving success. At TRANSCEND, we ensure that every student acquires fundamental skills through our organized TechScale program, which includes training in touch typing, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Our committed TechScale partner conducts a certification exam, equipping students with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in any professional setting. Mastering technology is essential for unlocking future opportunities.

No tuitions needed
At TRANSCEND, we believe that tuition is unnecessary when education is delivered effectively. Our primary focus is on ensuring that students understand academic concepts in the classroom, supported by internal checks, homework, assignments, and remedial classes for those who require extra help. With recorded lectures available on our student management software, we empower students to excel without the need for costly, time-consuming tuition, valuing both time and money.
Inter-class competitions
Inter Class Competitions (ICC) at TRANSCEND challenge students to push their limits and showcase their best abilities. With a diverse range of sports, cultural, and literary activities—both indoor and outdoor—these events promote teamwork, creativity, and resilience. From unique games like water polo and Jenga to classics like cricket and dance, ICC offers something for everyone. The ultimate reward? An exciting, supervised night out on campus for the champions.
Special celebrations
At TRANSCEND, we believe that celebrating special occasions creates lasting memories and fosters a sense of community. Whether it's Independence Day, Teachers' Day, or Environment Day, our students celebrate with passion and creativity, making each event unforgettable. These celebrations, held at least four times a year, showcase the spirit and enthusiasm of our students, as highlighted on our social media platforms.
Business events
Business events such as mock stock, business quizzes, and startup pitches provide valuable intellectual stimulation, setting them apart from sports and cultural events, which primarily focus on entertainment and creativity. While these events are typically reserved for undergraduates, we introduce them during the PU journey, giving students an early edge. Our signature event, “The Synergy Spectrum,” is exclusively for PU2 students, guided by degree students to enhance their preparation and exposure to the business world.
Tests and exams
At TRANSCEND, we believe that regular assessment is crucial for academic growth. With a minimum of two tests and two rounds of exams prior to the annual examination, we ensure consistent progress tracking. Decentralized class tests, supervised by subject teachers, enhance these centralized assessments. Additionally, we offer workshops on "The Art of Writing Exams," preparing students not only to master their subjects but also to excel in expressing their knowledge under exam conditions.
